The tower dive
Killing an enemy under their own tower.

« Towers hold grudges: the longer they aim at you, the harder they hit. Let the tankiest go in first, and never dive alone. »
- The setup
They're low, you're two, and your wave is under their tower, taking its shots. Everything is lined up.
- The tank takes the tower
Your jungler goes in first and hits: the tower turns on him. Each shot on him hits harder than the last.
- The kill, then the reset
You come in while the tower is on him, and finish the kill. He steps out of range: the tower goes back to the minions.
- The classic mistake
You dive alone, at equal health, with no minions. Every tower shot is yours, harder and harder: you die, they live.
When to do it
- They're low and you're two: the kill is quick, the tower only has time for a few shots.
- Your wave is under their tower: it keeps shooting your minions until someone hits a champion.
- Their jungler is far away: seen on the other side of the map, or just dead.
How to keep it
- The tankiest goes in first: hitting an enemy champion under the tower turns it on you, so let the one who can take it start.
- Watch the shots: each tower shot on the same champion hits harder than the last.
- Step out to reset it: when the one taking the shots leaves its range, the tower looks for a new target.
The tip for your rank
No dive without your wave under their tower and at least two of you. Alone, wait for them to come out.
Decide who takes the tower before you go: the tank goes in first, the damage follows once the tower is on the tank.
Set the dive up with the wave: a slow push that crashes into their tower, then the dive. The minions take the first shots, and you leave with the kill and the wave.
